Gosh, just realised that I haven't posted since April. You would think we have got loads done but .... nope! Office still has no floor!
I think the plan now it to get it sorted before Xmas so we get the lounge back for Xmas.
Obviously lil Chester has taken up a lot of our time. We've had a fab summer with him and looking forward to lots of long walks in the cold brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Here's some pics. Look how little he was aaaawwwwwwwww and now how big!!!

Office Progress
We had a little break on the house for a while (couple of weeks!) but now in full swing getting my office ready.
Reza is breaking up the floor and putting in some plastic ducts to house the central heating pipes and possibly wiring/networking etc depending on how much room there is. Next step is to plumb the radiator in under one of the windows and then I guess the wiring. 9 weeks till puppy time! Don't think it'll be done for then but we can have a good go :)
We also had a door frame fitted over the weekend which is looking good. When the plasterer comes we'll have to knock some of the plaster off in the hallway but it's not a huge problem.
I found this picture of a lovely office on the Ikea website and think we might work towards.
I've been tidying up the garden and pleased to see some of my bulbs coming through. No idea what this one is?!
My blueberry bushes are coming along nicely. One slightly more than the other two
I also planted 300!!!!! mini plants over the weekend but there seems to be some debate on where I should keep them. I bought a little greenhouse thing to keep them in which works well but should they indoors or outdoors? The leaflet says 16-18 degrees but I've been told if they are too warm they will grow 'leggy'. hmmmmm
The log store is looking good for next winter and we seem to have aquired a Land Rover rear door!
I am dog sitting this week for Dylan awwwwwww I would say it's good practice for the puppy but not really as Dylan is good as gold. He loves being outside in the garden!

List to complete .....
*Excuse quality of all pics .... Reza broke our proper camera so using my phone*
Last week I made myself a list of all the jobs that needed completing in the rooms we've already worked on (bathroom etc) and the plan is to finish all of these before doing ANYTHING else! It was also save up some money :)
This weekend I was determined to make a start and get at least 2 things done. It worked quite well!
Fit blind in the bathroom - DONE
Varnish bathroom door - DONE
Go to dump - DONE
Clean out BBQ - DONE
Make log store - DONE
The bathroom blind looks really good (thanks Dad!) and now people can't see us in the shower! phew ....
We had about 10 palettes in our back garden so I thought it would be a good idea to make a log store (plus we were running out of dry wood). Reza and Matt got to work yesterday afternoon and came up with this which I'm really pleased with. Plus we've now got lots of chopped up wood to use on the fire.
Reza and I talked about the next big plan which I think will now be getting a big shed up in the garden, moving all the tools etc into that and then working on my office (where the tools currently are). There's no rush and as above we've still go lots to do everywhere else.
Oh, we had a BBQ on Sat. That was fun :) lol

Weekend building work
Now the downstairs toilet and bathroom have been ripped out that room became one big room with a couple of walls where the toilet was. Reza and Stevo decided to knock them down themselves. I think at one point they did get crushed!! I was called to help so it must have been dangerous ....
Reza's uncle came round on Sat to block up the door to the kitchen and tidy up the wall where the new door to the office is going to be. It looks good, not really weird to not have a door there as I don't think we're ever used it!
Next steps are getting the walls rendered and plastered. Also need a door frame/door and move the water main as it comes up in the middle of the room (almost). Looking forward to moving in but a little way off yet.....

Finished Bathroom and Snow
Bit of a random post but realised I hadn't put any finished pictures of the bathroom up so took some this morning.
All there is to finish now is put a blind up, probably a shower screen and to box in the soil stack once the council have been to inspect.
Here it is (practically ...) finished!
Also - some snow pics as it's snowing today. Unfortunately I can't really take any of the front of the house as it's full of junk (which is actually probably covered up with the snow by now!)
